Surrender

The Korean Maple trees at the UW-Madison Arboretum (Longenecker Garden) are unique. Several years ago on an October walk, I encountered them at the height of fall color - an impossible combination of yellow, pink, orange, red and purple.  It felt like they were joyously singing their final song.  They amaze me still.
