Inspiration

My oldest brother, Steve, created things. First it was simple things like putting together model airplanes and space craft. Then as he matured it was complex things like producing home movies, writing poetry and fiction, composing classical music, photographing architectural elements, and assembling photographic collages. He did all of this by age 40, when he died from AIDS.
To honor Steve on the 32 anniversary of his passing, I created my first photographic collage. It was inspired by Steve, a relentless creator and innovator, and George B. Post and Sons, the architects of (in my humble opinion) the most beautiful state capitol in the United States. I’m inspired by the genius of those who've created before me.
