What's Your Creative Muse?
Over the last two years as we moved through the pandemic, many of us found renewed appreciation for our respective home base. For some, home base means awareness of our innate sense of being in this world. For others, it means a deeper reverence for and connection to family, home and neighborhood.
I know this was true for me personally and from a photographic perspective as well. Pre-pandemic, I anticipated traveling to iconic destinations in order to capture "the perfect shot." I assumed my home base was not worthy of creative inspiration.
However, my new-found appreciation of home base has revised my opinion of place, inspiration and beauty. And it has led me to ponder the following: What if your muse, your creative inspiration, is right outside your front window? And it was what you were looking for all along?
