Walking Chicago Streets
A Little Drunk on Facades,
Towers, and Shared Lore
A new haiku and an older photograph taken several years ago on an architectural tour of Chicago, before Covid, before retirement, before all kinds of seismic change wrought by the simple passage of time. And yet the Wrigley building persists in the ever-evolving Chicago skyline. I don’t know when architecture became a kind of comfort for me, a story told of ambition, beauty and endurance, but it has, and I hope my architectural photographs carry some murmurings of those tales.
